This morning I woke up and noticed that there were a lot of Twitter activity that I’d missed (currently on vacation in Thailand enjoying the beaches and the sun), where I had been included in the conversation. It appeared that PowerShell.org had presented the names of the PowerShell Heroes for 2015, and my name was mentioned!

There’s only one thing to say, from the bottom of my heart, that I’m deeply honored and humbled by being nominated in the first place, and also for receiving the award. It feels great to be recognized by the community, for the work you do.

I’ve been running this blog for almost 2.5 years now and it’s been growing ever since. As you may have noticed, I try to keep the content of this blog detailed and easy to understand and follow. I do this because I realized many years back, that a huge part of my daily work consisted of me following blog posts, and I felt that I had to share as well to the community.

To the other amazing and great people who were awarded today as well, I just want to say congratulations, well deserved and great work!

Finally, what better way could there be than to wake up on your vacation and find out that you’ve received the eminent award of being a PowerShell Hero of 2015? There’s none!
